ARCS-B/BT - 13.56 MHz DESFire® EV2 + Bluetooth® keypad readers

Welcome To High Security

The reader uses the latest MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 contactless chip technologies with new data security mechanisms:

• Secure Messaging EV2: secure transaction method based on AES-128 with protection against interleaving and replay attacks.

• Proximity Check: improved protection against relay attacks.

All public encryption algorithms can be used (3DES, AES, RSA, SHA, etc.), which are recommended by official data security agencies (such as the French national agency ANSSI).

The Architect® Blue series uses an EAL5+

cryptoprocessor to improve protection and privacy.

Ensure Secure Migration

The multi-technology Architect® range makes it easy to manage extensions, upgrades and technology migrations.

Readers can read:

• NXP  MIFARE®  credentials  (Classic  &  Classic  EV1, Ultralight®  &  Ultralight®  C,  Plus®  &

   Plus® EV1, DESFire® 256, EV1 & EV2),

• French Ministry cards (“Carte AGENT”, CIMS), civil aviation (STITCH),

• CPS3 (IAS protocol) health cards,

• Smartphones* compatible with Bluetooth®, NFC (HCE) technologies and Orange Pack ID.

Create Your Own Scalable Configuration

STid allows you to upgrade the functionalities and security levels of all your readers. The modularity concept allows you to implement new functions: keyboard, touch screen or biometric fingerprint sensor and/or add a 125 kHz module for your technological migrations.

Manage with ease a Multi-Factor Identification

Both reader and keypad, the ARCS-B/BT allows a dual-identification by combining card and/or PIN code identifications.

Thanks to its various operating modes (card AND key or card OR key), you can use the keypad to identify people or to activate additional functions (activation of the intrusion alarm…)

Standing The Test Of Time

The reader’s IK08 certified vandal-proof structure has been optimized to resist knocks and malicious acts. It is designed to withstand harsh environments (IP65 level excluding connectivity): dust, heavy rain, frost, etc.
